Hi  friends, I am Neal Santhosh I got this series of books called “The Land of Stories” as a gift for my 11th birthday from my aunt from Canada as she knows that I love to read books and novels. The Land of Stories which I got consists of 5 books with different stories from the fairyland. The first one among them is titled “The Wishing Spell”. It is a story of two twin siblings who entered into another world called “The Land Of Stories”. You may be wondering who are these siblings? What is their name? How did they enter into another world? Did they get back to their home? This is what the first book of the series is all about. The story begins in a classroom where the two twins are. They are Alex and Conner. Alex and Conner looked good and alike with bright blue eyes and strawberry-blonde hair. Alex was a good-looking little girl and always kept her hair neatly out of her face with a headband while Conner’s face was round and freckled. Alex was always eager to please everyone and was a book lover. She had a thirst for knowledge, and because of it, Alex was usually the first person to answer Mrs.Peter in the class. She always tried her best to impress others with every chance she got, putting extra effort into each book report and class presentation. However, this usually annoyed the others and she was often teased for it. She usually spends lunch alone under a tree somewhere with an open library book. Although she would never tell anyone, Alex was so lonely that sometimes it hurts her. She is very open about her problems to others. Conner was completely opposite from his sister, as he has lots of friends and couldn’t follow the class and accidentally falls asleep. He is not very open about her problems to others. They both have a great knowledge of fairytales because both of them like fairytales that their grandmother and their father narrate to them. Their father had a book store called “Bailey’s Books”. One night when he was returning from the store he met with an accident and passed away, Conner and Alex really missed his presence in their life. Life was not the same for the family after their father died. Their mother was a nurse and was working day and night to support the family after their father passed away. The Bailey family had a beautiful blue house and a book store. Sadly after their father passed away. They couldn’t afford the beautiful blue house and a book store any longer and they were forced to sell their beautiful blue house and a book store. They had to move to a small rented house just a few miles away from their beautiful blue house. On their 12th birthday, they received a book from their grandmother called “The Land of Stories”. It was with Alex all the time. Gradually Alex becomes more like Conner. She started to sleep and become weaker day by day in class. Every day it becomes more and more difficult for Alex to follow the class taken by Mrs.Peter. The reason for this is that she was awake all night. That’s when they discover that the book given by their grandmother was magical and it hums and glows. Alex puts things into the book when it hums and glows and it sinks into the book as it sinks into a portal. By accident, they both fall into the book and reach another world of fairytales called “The Land of Stories”….  Prologue into “The Land Of Stories”  The Land of Stories is all about the fairytale land which has different kingdoms and they are; The Sleeping Kingdom or The Eastern Kingdom is ruled by the Queen Sleeping Beauty and King Case Charming. Snow White is now the Queen of The Northern Kingdom and lives with her husband King Chandler  Charming. Queen Cinderella and King Chance Charming are about to start a family in The Charming Kingdom. The Fairy Kingdom is full of fairies and is ruled by the “The Fairy Council”. Red Riding Hood is the elected Queen of the Red Riding Hood Kingdom. The Corner Kingdom is ruled by Queen Rapunzel and King Sir William. The Mermaid Bay is looked after by the little mermaid. The elf empire Is ruled by Empress Elvina The Troll and the Goblin Territory Is ruled by Queen Trollbella. The imagination of the writer here is commendable. I never knew that all the fairy tales once enjoyed individually could come together and the life of each character in the stories could change. After entering the book called “The Land Of Stories” the twins reached a forest where they met a friend called Froggy. Froggy was a frog-man who had been cursed by a witch and turned into a frog. He helped the twins with a journal in which the details of The Wishing spell has been mentioned. According to the Wishing spell, a series of objects must be put together. Then the collector is granted a wish. No matter how big or small the wish is, it is always granted. To get back home Alex and Conner must do and follow the instructions from the journal. This book is all about the adventures and fantasies that the siblings go through in their quest to find the items for the Wishing Spell. As the twins read the journal they didn’t expect to find the items mentioned in the riddles. Still, they travelled through all the kingdoms to collect the items including Cinderella’s glass slippers, jewels from Snow White’s coffin, Rapunzel’s lock of hair, a fairy’s teardrop, a little mermaids dagger, a piece of bark from the basket carries by Red Riding Hood, sleeping beauty’s spindle and more.. the list was really weird. It was not an easy task for Alex and Conner. But still, they tried to get these things with great difficulty. Moreover, at
